My readings are not traditional in any sense. it’s more like a deep dive into who you are & what you want to do in this life. I use the coffee cup to concentrate on the energy field, possibilities & potential around you. ~ Ishelle
The practice of reading Turkish coffee grounds has been around as long as there has been Turkish coffee. Once you have drunk all your coffee down to the grounds, you take the saucer, place it on top of the cup, flip the cup over toward your heart and let it cool.
As it cools, the coffee grounds will make their way down the sides of the cup, creating designs. When my aunt used to have her friends over for coffee and readings, they would each place their rings on the tops of the overturned cups not only to signify they cup but also to draw the heat from the cup into the metal ring.
Once it is cool, you would lift the cup to see what images and impressions come to mind. They say that if you hold the cup by its handle, the grounds to the left on the inside represent the past. To the right of the handle, represents the future and the handle area is where you are right now.
Ishelle is the master of reading the grounds and uses the cup as an intuitive conduit, “seeing” your fortune as she gently turns the cup.
She is here by appointment only and mostly on the weekends. She can be contacted thru Instagram @pure_knowing. She does 20 and 40 minute readings and is located in room 202
